Our cultural landscape is flooded with two dimensional signage, TVs and the type of device you are using now. Our time and attention are increasingly focused on these glowing rectangular surfaces and into the illusion of depth they offer. This "in-between" and "neither here nor there" consciousness is redefining our interactions with the world and others. Virtual and augmented realities are proliferating and reshaping what our experience of art and other aspects of our lives can be and can mean. This is the condition I attempt to interrogate, reflect and explore in my recent work.

I aspire to be the type of artist who gets a viewer to the Aesthetic Phase listed above and also to be "serious" as described below.
The serious artist is the only person able to encounter technology with impunity, just because he is an expert aware of the changes in sense perception. - Marshall McCluhan
